In the 2022-23 (Reiwa 4) academic year, the UK Study Programme (海外語学実習) will run in the summer as on online programme. The general course objective is to facilitate the development of the participating students into global citizens. In the first half of the programme, the participating students will attend four face-to-face 90-minute orientation classes on Monday 22 August at Fukuoka Prefectural University (FPU) and then a further 90-minute online orientation class held later that same week. The latter half of the programme will consist of five 90-minute virtual exchange (Zoom) sessions held between students from FPU and Oxford Brookes University. Throughout the programme, the participating students will also do homework assignments equivalent to five 90-minute classes. These homework assignments will culminate in the students making a short English-language presentation at the final online session attended by the Oxford Brookes University students.
